The Real Just - Top 10 Mixtapes of 2010 (So Far...)

Well, you are probably wondering where the hell I have been lately. I haven't really had any desire to blog and this started feeling more like a chore then a hobby, so I just fell off. I thought about deleting the blog completely, but for some reason I just couldn't get rid of all of the memories that I have saved on here. What does this mean going forward? Who the hell knows...it's been over a month since my last post and the only thing that has inspired me to log on here was to re-post my Top 10 Mixtapes of 2010 (So Far...) that I posted on Twitter at some point last week. 

Why Top 10 mixtapes 8 months into the year? I don't even know. LULZ. I was on Twitter on the late night at someone started talking about their favorite mixtape of the year so far and it wasn't "Kush x OJ". That started a debate between the like 10 people who were still awake on my timeline. I didn't see my blog activity starting back any time soon so I figured I'd post my list that I have been updating in my notes section on my iPhone. 

I will say that this list was posted before I listened to the Wale - "More About Nothing" tape which most definitely will be on this Top 10 List at the end of the year. Plus when I made this list I was given a few recommendations of tapes I still need to check out (Shawn Chrystopher, The Illz, etc.). On top of that, it's August so we still got 4 more months left and tapes coming from G.o.D. Jewels, How E. Stacks and I'm sure a whole lot of other people. AKA this list could change up a whole lot by January 2011.

In the 10 months since the blog was originally created I have downloaded and listened to a whole lot of different mixtapes, albums and singles from all genres of music. It's no secret that although The Real Just is made up of a whole bunch of different things, music is what dominates the large majority of the posts on this site.

When I originally started this site as Just In Time, I was watching the Raiders get blown out and my wife was asleep on the couch. I was bored and I thought..."why don't I see what's up with Blogger and set up a blog myself?". 10 Months and almost 40,000 views later I have a group of consistent viewers and yet another hobby to add to the mix. Will I ever make money because of this? God, I sure and the hell hope so, but either way I will always be able to look back on this as a huge growing point for me and a great way to really see exactly who The Real Just is.
